What’s your favourite childhood book?
I was fifteen when The Gruffalo was first published in 1999 so it wasn’t on my childhood bookshelf. I bought Sebastian a copy for his first Birthday and it’s now sitting proudly on his bookshelf ready for when he is old enough to truly appreciate the tale of the Gruffalo’s encounter with the little brown mouse.
I know that it is going to be one of his favourite books in years to come.

I love love love Fridays… Sebastian isn’t in nursery and I have the day off work meaning we can spend some quality time together. Delightful.

Sebastian turned 16 months old this week (oh my) and for about 14 months I still hadn’t found the ‘right’ baby changing bag…you know ‘the one’. Something for me. Not for Daddy.
Before Sebastian was born we bought the bag that matched our pram – it was bulky and denim. Now don’t get me wrong it was a great bag and it did the trick for a while but it really wasn’t at all feminine and yeah i’d like to class myself as a ‘yummy mummy’ but I really didn’t want a neon pink bag with ‘yummy mummy‘ plastered all over it (not that there is anything wrong with those bags). With my beloved Mulberry ‘Del Ray’ back in it’s dust bag I needed to fill the void… I needed a luxurious leather changing bag that was practical, feminine and would look good draped over my arm…
