Once upon a bedtime there was a little boy named Sebastian….
…who really hated bedtime. Like REALLY hated it. Only drifting off in our arms after protesting and constant eye poking (our eyes, not his).
The co-sleeping. Yes we have co-slept, don’t hate me, but only for a little while and then Daddy would scoop him up and place him, ever so gently into his cot. To be on the safe side a bit of white noise to drift him off into a deep deep sleep to dream of food, puppies, milk, iggle piggle and whatever else a nearly 18 month old dreams about. Yesterday we were lucky enough to have our names on the guest list for the HAPPY SUNDAZE event at The Wonder Inn hosted by the wonderful ladies from Our Kids Social.
The Wonder Inn was the perfect location for a ‘right old northern knees up with your nippers’ – from the outside it looks like a tiny old pub next to Shude Hill tram stop (blink and you’ll miss it) but on the inside it’s a leafy labyrinth of rooms and passageways, dimly lit with fairy lights providing the perfect magical atmosphere for young minds.

Picture the scene…. you’re out shopping and have an arm full of clothes that need to be tried on… you thrust your beloved Mullbery ‘Del Ray’ over to your husband, ‘hold this, i’ll be ten minutes‘ and you disappear into H&M’s changing rooms. Rolling his eyes he stands outside for twenty minutes, gripping the handle with his thumb and forefinger, nodding to all the other men who feel just as awkward as him and generally being uncertain regarding the whole ‘bag holding’ etiquette…
