Christmas 2017 will be Sebastian’s second Christmas. I’m super excited about this year’s festivities. Sebastian had literally just turned 8 months old last Christmas and he didn’t have a clue what was going on. I’m hoping this year will be more magical for him. However, I am stuck for gift ideas as I know he would rather play with the cardboard box.
If you’re like me and have no idea what to buy a toddler then here is some present-buying inspiration!
- JoJo Maman Bébé | Jungle Animal Skittles
I LOVED playing skittles as a child. Endless hours of competitive fun! I also have a thing for wooden toys. They have a little charm about them. I especially love these Jungle Animal Skittles from JoJo Maman Bébé. Beautifully crafted from sturdy wood and brightly painted to create six adorable animals (my fave being Mr panda). Each skittle is 11cm high and when they are not in use they look fabulous displayed on Sebastian’s bookshelf. This quirky set is both FUN and useful for developing hand-eye coordination.
These JoJo Maman Bébé Jungle Animal Skittles retail at £14.00.

- Pebble Child | Fox & Pear Rattles
I discovered Pebble Child via Instagram a few months ago. It was Mr Fox with his blue cravat who caught my eye. This wonderful Fox has a large group of friends including Señor Raccoon*, Humpty Dumpty and Dave the Dinosaur*.
All Pebble products are lovingly made entirely by hand with natural materials by rural women in Bangladesh. Each fair trade toy will vary in size and colour making them all unique. It’s such a wonderful story of how this company came to helping to provide jobs for many rural women who are poor and often disadvantaged. You MUST watch this video as when you purchase a Pebble product, you are helping these women support their families and keep them together.

*These are obviously not their real names… #smileyfaceemoji
- Vanarags|Printed Cushions
Can you tell I have a thing for foxes yet…
I stumbled across Vanarags whilst doing my daily Instagram stalking of yummy mummies. Based in London and Lisbon, Vanarags produce the most amazing printed cushions. Each cushion is printed on high-quality fabric with ecologically-friendly pigment inks. These pillows are proudly displayed on Sebastian’s bed in his FOX theme bedroom.

- Little Doodle House | Personalised Blanket
Can we just pause for a moment to truly appreciate this personalised blanket! Laura from Little Doodle House is busy creating an array of personalised blankets and leggings whilst on maternity leave. #wonderwoman.
Sebastian’s new favourite personalised woodland blanket is made from single weight organic cotton and is super soft. Laura even washes them before shipping them out and when I opened it smelt like baby Sebastian. #hearteyesemoji

- Milly Green | Personalised Placemat
I’m all for making meal times FUN and this personalised jungle train placemat is ideal. Sebastian is a keen trainspotter and will say Choo Choo when it’s time for tea!
This cork backed melamine placemat is very durable and easy to maintain – simply wipe down with warm water. They provide an ideal surface for some fun and practical activities.
