Shrek the Musical, based on the 2001 Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film tells the tale of a Scottish Green Ogre who, along with his noble steed, is challenged by Lord Farquaad to rescue a princess from a dragon-guarded tower. Seems pretty simple right?
Oh no, in true fairytale style it’s never THAT simple but in the end, Shrek falls in love with the princess and they live happily ever after. The End.

Yesterday we were lucky enough to have our names on the guest list for the HAPPY SUNDAZE event at The Wonder Inn hosted by the wonderful ladies from Our Kids Social.
The Wonder Inn was the perfect location for a ‘right old northern knees up with your nippers’ – from the outside it looks like a tiny old pub next to Shude Hill tram stop (blink and you’ll miss it) but on the inside it’s a leafy labyrinth of rooms and passageways, dimly lit with fairy lights providing the perfect magical atmosphere for young minds.

Sebastian turned 16 months old this week (oh my) and for about 14 months I still hadn’t found the ‘right’ baby changing bag…you know ‘the one’. Something for me. Not for Daddy.
Before Sebastian was born we bought the bag that matched our pram – it was bulky and denim. Now don’t get me wrong it was a great bag and it did the trick for a while but it really wasn’t at all feminine and yeah i’d like to class myself as a ‘yummy mummy’ but I really didn’t want a neon pink bag with ‘yummy mummy‘ plastered all over it (not that there is anything wrong with those bags). With my beloved Mulberry ‘Del Ray’ back in it’s dust bag I needed to fill the void… I needed a luxurious leather changing bag that was practical, feminine and would look good draped over my arm…
