The one where Helen & Maggie went to Friendsfest

The one where Helen & Maggie went to Friendsfest

Back in August I visited the most instagrammable event of the year. FRIENDSFEST. (Could I BE any later with this review?)

Even though Friends ended 13 years ago it still has a major cult following and the lives of Chandler Bing, Phoebe Buffay, Monica Geller, Ross Geller, Rachel Green and Joey Tribbiani are still continuously aired on Comedy Central.

Friendsfest, hosted by Comedy Central is an annual celebration of the show. I attended its stint at Heaton Park in Manchester. For £26 myself and Maggie got our Friends geek on and visited the apartments of Joey and Chandler & Monica and Rachel. Continue reading “The one where Helen & Maggie went to Friendsfest”

The Modern Midwife || Marie Louise Maternity

The Modern Midwife || Marie Louise Maternity

Last month, whilst sipping champagne with baby spice at my first ever blogger party, I met Marie. A twenty something Midwife from Cornwall, who, at the age of 21, became one of the youngest midwives in the UK.  After becoming a senior midwife, Marie found that many parents-to-be brought unnecessary items into hospital. I can’t quite remember all of the contents of my hospital bag but I do remember it contained the ‘essentials’ such as Jelly Babies, Salt & Vinegar Pringles and a 6 pack of Lucozade…Well that’s what Instagram told me to pack…. I joined the ‘blogging club’ on the 8th June 2017.

Some people ‘get it’ and others don’t. For me, right now, it’s just a bit of fun. Nothing too serious.  I write about brands that I love and ones that I genuinely connect with.

You will have seen me rave about Kit & Kin on here and on numerous Instagram posts so you can guess I was ecstatic when I received an email inviting me to an exclusive preview of all their amazing products hosted by co-founders, Emma Bunton & Chris Money.

Oh. My. God!

Day Tripping || Our Kids Social

Yesterday we were lucky enough to have our names on the guest list for the HAPPY SUNDAZE event at The Wonder Inn hosted by the wonderful ladies from Our Kids Social.

The Wonder Inn was the perfect location for a ‘right old northern knees up with your nippers’ – from the outside it looks like a tiny old pub next to Shude Hill tram stop (blink and you’ll miss it) but on the inside it’s a leafy labyrinth of rooms and passageways, dimly lit with fairy lights providing the perfect magical atmosphere for young minds.
