Oh Summer, where have you been hiding for the past million days? I’m sure you will agree that it’s nice to feel 25°C on your skin for longer than a week…
Instagram at the moment is full of pretty flower fields and one in particular has caught my eye but it’s just too hot for a six hour round road trip with a toddler in tow.
Instead we opted to travel just under an hour to Inglenook Farm for brunch and a play in their lavender field.
The things you do for good Instagram picture… hey!
The Farm is small with only a few animals but it was totally worth the trip to catch the lavender field in all its sweet smelling glory before it’s harvested to make essential oils. The boy was in a foul mood and is pretty much frowning in all 127 photos. To be fair all he wanted to do was spend an hour poking a goat with this new friend Woody than looking all cute in a lavender field.
Heres hoping the summer stays just that little bit longer…
