Just over 4 weeks ago we moved Sebastian from his teeny tiny box room into his new BIG BOY room. When we first moved in we lived in this room for nearly a year whilst we renovated the downstairs! C.R.A.Z.Y HEY?!?!
I had no idea where to start with this room. His first bedroom was a mix of shades of grey with a fox theme running through. Again, I turned to my old faithful Pinterest and began frantically pinning! In the end I opted for a Robot theme as I fell in love with this interactive duvet set from Dunelm.
And here’s the finished room* in all its glory…..
*I still need to get some art on the walls but I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out and his reaction to seeing it for the first time was priceless!
THE DETAILS
The shelf and clothing rail were made by Alex from some old strips of MDF.
The mustard yellow draw set was from Gumtree which I painted with chalk paint.
His books are housed on the Ikea Mosslanda picture ledge and his toy box is also from Ikea.
The crosspoint beanbag and storage bag are by Wildfox and were kindly gifted by Daisybelle Dreams.
The orange star rug was from B&M.
The multicoloured pom pom garland is from Oklahoma in Manchester.
His bed is the ‘Alex’ cot bed from John Lewis.
and finally, the Robot bedding and curtains are from Dunlem.
