I joined the ‘blogging club’ on the 8th June 2017.
Some people ‘get it’ and others don’t. For me, right now, it’s just a bit of fun. Nothing too serious. I write about brands that I love and ones that I genuinely connect with.
You will have seen me rave about Kit & Kin on here and on numerous Instagram posts so you can guess I was ecstatic when I received an email inviting me to an exclusive preview of all their amazing products hosted by co-founders, Emma Bunton & Chris Money.
Oh. My. God!
….This was like winning a golden ticket in a Wonka Bar! MY FIRST BLOGGER PARTY! So at the crack of dawn on Friday 22nd September off to London I went. The party was held at the Iris Studios in Kensington. It was an intimate affair with 17 other bloggers and boy did I feel privileged! It really was a ‘pinch me’ moment.
Now a fully fledged ‘BRAND AMBASSADOR’ Sebastian was gifted another tote bag containing a pack of Kit & Kin’s eco-friendly nappies along with their full skin care collection.
Over canapes and fizz, Emma & Chris talked about their friendship and the history of the brand. I had no idea they only launched 5 months ago! These two are truly passionate about the environment and what we should and shouldn’t use on brand new peachy derrieres.
As I mentioned in a previous blog post conventional nappies are one of the largest contributors to landfill in the world. In the UK alone we throw away 8 million nappies every day!
YES 8 MILLION…EVERY SINGLE DAY!!
And what is even more shocking they can take up to 500 years to biodegrade! (Insert shocked face emoji here).
Kit & Kin’s eco-friendly nappies are bio-degradable and the majority of Kit & Kin’s nappy, including packaging, will biodegrade within only 3 to 6 years! (Insert shocked face emoji again here).
So you can see why I LOVE this brand so much!
After hours of chatting, boomeranging, selfie taking and fizz drinking, more bloggers and ‘grammers’ arrived for networking, fun and cocktails. Lots of cocktails.
After saying my goodbyes I headed back up North, slightly tipsy and absolutely buzzing that 1, my first blogger party was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G and 2, well see below…. #GIRLPOWER
Thank you Emma & Chris and the ladies at Franklin Rae for making this event one I won’t forget anytime soon.
