Well this is certainly one unloved blog at the moment isn’t it! Pretty much halfway through 2021 and my second post! It’s been a funny old past 12 months. Last year I had the reading bug. This year i’ve been trying to teach myself how to illustrate on my iPad.
I’ve been wanting to design my own range of kids prints for at least 3 years but it was just never the right time. When the third lockdown happened I decided to go for it and in April I launched my brand CURIOUS DAY and uploaded my first collection over on Etsy.
I’m not going to lie, it has been hard. Working a full time job in Marketing plus looking after 2 small humans has taken over my life. The only time I have to focus on Curious Day is in the evenings when the kids are in bed and I sit, vino in hard and scour Pinterest for inspiration, doodle in my sketch pad and learn the ins & outs of Procreate.
I currently have 4 prints for sale over on Etsy. All of my prints are professionally printed in small batches here in the UK. I wanted to be as eco-friendly as possible so each print is printed on 300gsm premium certified card stock made from 100% post-consumer waste and packaged in a protective biodegradable cello sleeve.
I’d love for you to follow my creative journey over on Instagram @wearecuriousday, favourite my Etsy shop and i’d love you even more if you bought a print!!
Watch this space!
